We started One Village Group a year and a half ago with the vision to help missionaries get in the field faster, stay there longer, and communicate better with their supporters.
The whole mission industry is struggling to absorb the changes that have come so quickly in the 21st century.
A year and a half later we are helping more and more missionaries face these challenges head on.
A Modern Missions Approach
One Village Group has grown into a nonprofit that is part Creative Design Agency (providing graphic, web, & video support) and part missionary training organization (coaching missionaries on communications, support raising, tech, and branding).
When missionaries finish our Digital Missions School they walk away with:
- A personal website
- A personal brand strategy (how to look, feel, and communicate professionally)
- A modern publishing platform for easily communicating with supporters
- A personal video that explains their mission clearly & succinctly
- A professional promotional package for recruiting supporters and churches
Those things are cool, but more valuable than all of these is the new mindset of how to be a professional missionary:
- A missionary who is a resource to churches and individuals who can not go overseas
- A missionary who communicates consistently with supporters through different mediums (not just a newsletter)
- A missionary who gives more than they receive
Here are just three missionaries we have been blessed to work with recently:
1. Daniel and Amanda Buck (Stateside)

Just returned from five years in the Hungarian mission field, Daniel and Amanda will now be working stateside mobilizing (equipping, training, & preparing) new missionaries from the One Mission Society headquarters in Greenwood IN. Checkout their new blog page at bucktales.life.
2. Andrew and Ashlynn Gross (Japan)

Andrew and Ashlynn are heading to Japan to open an outreach facility that will number 12 missionaries in all once fully launched. Checkout their new blog page at grossfamjapan.com.
3. Dr. Tim Orr

Dr. Tim Orr recently surpassed over 1.4 million views on his YouTube channel aimed at connecting with Muslims, and he has a new blog page packed with resources at 4timorr.ghost.io. One Village Group has been responsible for shooting and editing many of his online videos and providing tech support for his blog page.
Big things coming… we ask for your prayers!
We are excited to host our first Digital Missions Accelerator, Oct 29th - Nov. 2nd, in Greenwood, Indiana.
For 5 days we will be doing extended, hands-on training with 10 missionaries from different parts of the U.S.

This workshop is full! But if you know missionaries who might be interested in our Digital Missions School, have them contact us and we can save them a spot for our January workshop!
Pray for our staff and our missionaries as we set aside this time to dig into what it means to be a great missionary in today's crazy world.
