Dr. Tim Orr is an award-winning adjunct lecturer in religious studies, author, and interfaith leader. Our team at One Village Group has been helping him record and produce lectures on current events and share them on YouTube.

We jumped in feet first with Dr. Orr's first subject: "Islam, Christianity, and the Transgender Debate."

Using Video to Open New Doors

Dr. Orr speaks with Muslims around the world about faith, the Quran, and Christianity, and he has the advanced degrees needed to lead the discussion on both sides of the debate.

Early last year he was asked by the University of Tehran to come and speak on the subject of "Islam, Christianity, and the Transgender Debate", but he needed to send them a video of his presentation to be approved by the Muslim Council of the University.

The video we recorded and produced for Dr. Orr not only gained him a spot to lecture for the University of Tehran, but it has gained tens of thousands of views on YouTube as well.

Due to the recent war in Gaza, Dr. Orr had to cancel his trip to Iran, but he was still invited to share his lecture through a Zoom recording and give out his contact info to those attending the conference in person.

Next Steps

Following the success of Dr. Orr’s first video, we have begun recording a new series of apologetic lectures for Dr. Orr, "The Quran's View of the Jewish People", that he will be sharing in the months to come.

Together We Go Further

Working with Dr. Orr was a great opportunity to put our motto to the test: "Together we go further".

With the help of the One Village Group community, we were able to bring together a specialized team: including videographers, editors, and a recording site, for Dr. Orr, which allowed him to take his message and make it available to tens of thousands of people around the world.
