“The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them.” (Isaiah 9: 2 NASB)

If you've been alive long enough you've experienced dark and painful things. At some point, you've lived in dark lands. Maybe you're there right now.

Over 2700 years ago, in the book of Isaiah, God promised us a great light. The birth of Jesus was the fulfillment of that promise. (Here's a great video from King & Country about the light in the darkness!)

God Provides

In the Old Testament, one of the names the Jews called God was, “Jehovah Jireh” – "The Lord our Provider”.  At One Village Group, we saw him provide again and again this past year.  As our needs as a ministry organization have arisen, He has provided.

More exciting than financial provision though, was how God consistently provided our team opportunities to show His faithfulness to other missionaries and mission groups who go out and share the great light of Jesus.

Over and over, He connected us with missionaries and mission groups that needed the exact giftings He has given us to share:

  • Providing branding and graphics for new ministries (Agape Wellness Center)
  • Helping new missionaries raise support to go out into the mission field (Hanna Galler with OMS)
  • Creating webpages to give old mission groups new platforms to reach the world (Fouad Masri with Crescent Project)
  • Producing video content to help build bridges with Muslims (Tim Orr)
  • Producing videos that allow non-English speakers to worship in their native tongues (Tommy Bourke)
  • And the list goes on and on.

Jehovah Jireh = The Lord our Provider.

Thank you!

As our first year as a ministry draws to a close, we here at One Village Group want to thank you for all your prayers, encouragement, and financial support.   Our motto “Together we go further” has been proven true repeatedly.

Please continue to pray for us and the missionaries and mission groups we support in 2024. To follow our story and get more updates make sure you hit the subscribe button below!
